Women are welcome in our classes from 14-42 weeks, and can continue beyond their first six week block for as long as they wish.  Most of our students stay until baby arrives, which means great opportunities for making friends and birth preparation, as well as the support of yoga throughout pregnancy.  We offer more than six week blocks, because we are fully qualified and experienced yoga teachers.  We believe you deserve the safest and highest quality pregnancy yoga. £48 per six weeks.

We have been specialists in pregnancy yoga since 2005 and have supported thousands of women through to motherhood (and beyond).  All women are welcome in their second and third trimesters.  We accommodate for a very wide range of pregnancy related conditions and issues, adapting every class to those present and individual needs.

“You have been an integral part of my journey into motherhood.” Jo

“Thank you for your wonderful antenatal yoga classes. I have found then both physically and mentally beneficial.” Sam

“I have loved our yoga classes.” Kay

“Amazing support.” Clare

In each class gentle yoga postures are practised to support your body, helping you reduce aches and pains associated with pregnancy, and aid digestive, circulatory, nervous and respiratory systems (to name but a few benefits).

Breathing practices which help in pregnancy are integral to each session, including techniques for labour, for calming and for energising.   Many students’ favourite, yoga nidrais the final practice of each class: a deep relaxation practice to help you feel rested, improve sleep and boost energy… while giving you time to connect to your baby and prepare for the life change ahead.

We have plenty of labour preparation elements woven into the sessions too, and frequently we hear from students and midwives that the techniques learned have been extremely useful for them during labour.

If you are new to yoga this is fine: more than half of our pregnancy students are, and complete beginners are welcome regardless of fitness or flexibility.

Research has shown that yoga in pregnancy helps women feel more confident about birth and less anxious about becoming a parent.
