Join us for longer and treat yourself to a yoga retreat. We offer half and whole day retreats, and yoga breaks beyond the city. From £30 per person, including hot drinks, snacks and a nourishing dhal.
We have been practising yoga for a long time and know the difference more time and space can make for our practice and for our wellbeing. Whether you can dedicate a half day or a couple of days a restorative yoga retreat will offer you space to recharge and reconnect to yourself. In our short retreats we start with a cup of tea on arrival (herbal or regular) and then lie down with plenty of cushions and blankets. The first yoga session lasts for an hour and a half and then we have a break before continuing with a deeply restorative session involving meditation and yoga nidra.
The morning rounds off with the optional lunch. All participants are invited to bring some food plus we provide a nourishing dhal.
In longer day retreats (£50) we continue to deepen our practice around a theme (examples include ancient yoga practices around the elements, chakras and prana, as well as themes of nature, creativity, and somatic therapy).
If you are new to yoga this is fine: all levels are welcome.
Some of our retreats are outdoors on the wonderful land at Iona School (NG3 7DN). In these sessions we connect to the wheel of the year and seasons, and our relationship to nature is at the heart of our yoga practice.
From 2021 we plan to offer some longer yoga breaks, in calm settings outside the city (overnight). Do get in touch for more info!
